Gas Tanks and Arabic Documents Found in Unmarked Car by Paris’ Notre Dame Cathedral Spark Terror Fears

(Yes, I know that, thanks…) But the ashes aren’t even cold yet, and the media is already calling any suspicion of arson an “alt-right” conspiracy theory. Gas tanks and documents in Arabic were found in an unmarked car next to Notre Dame cathedral, sparking fresh terror fears and at least four arrests, according to French reports.

A couple known to intelligence services as being “favourable to the ideas of Isil” were arrested on Tuesday night on their way to Spain, after an anti-terror investigation was launched following the discovery of the suspicious vehicle containing up to seven cylinders on Sunday yards from the cathedral – one of Paris’s most visited landmarks.

A second couple was detained overnight on Wednesday.

Documents in Arabic were reportedly found inside the car outside the cathedral and were “in the process of being translated”.

Did you even read the article you got this from? Because it was written in 2016. So either you’re extremely lazy, or, more likely, you’re trying to get clicks by intentionally posting fake news and stirring up hatred.

Did you actually read what was posted on this site…looks like you are the one that is lazy…. if you had bothered to read rather than run your mouth off you would have seen ………..[Ed. Come on. You CLEARLY tried to make it sound like the documents had just been found and could be tied to this fire, when they are completely unrelated.

And don’t give me that crap about me not reading it. You edited the article to include that disclaimer AFTER I posted. Not only are you trying to mislead people, you’re trying to cover your tracks and make me look stupid. You were wrong to post this article to incite more hatred, and you were wrong to then lie to discredit me. Absolutely appalling. Anyone reading this should take this to heart and find a different news source.

Yes, I added the editor’s note later. Yes, I agree it might have been misleading to not “date” it up-front. Yes, I added the editor’s note in response to your comment, because I agreed it was misleading otherwise.

However, it was not an intent to mislead anyone. The mainstream media was calling it a renovation mishap before the fire was even at it’s peak. The left media was calling any suggestion of arson an “alt-right conspiracy theory”, even though arson and vandalism against french churches is taking place non-stop, as I linked to in the RT article.

More over, even if it was an accident, I wanted to point to all the social media posts of Muslims celebrating it, while linking to the article to prove it’s not a wild conspiracy theory, and is – indeed – something that’s already been threatened.

Now, seriously, man… fucking relax. I post up to 100 news items and videos daily. I don’t have time to fully read or view most of them. I don’t vouch for the ultimate truth of anything I post. Sometimes I post things I completely disagree with (I post lefty Pam Martens articles from wallstonparade every single day). It’s a collection of perspectives, from which you might have your own perspective influenced. I don’t have the budget of the New York times, and I don’t pretend to do everything exactly right 100% of the time.

Rather than being angry, assume that — like you — other readers will figure out the dates. I still think the article is relevant in light of arson being called a “conspiracy theory” as the fire raged.

PS – I’m not the “Anonymous” who responded to you… obviously.
