We had a healthy debate on the role of food stamps in America today. He believes that they stimulate the economy and should be more widely distributed, while your host believes otherwise. Mr. Pimpare feels that the decline in the standard of living of the average American worker has come about due to international competitive factors while your host believes that it was due largely from debasement of the currency, the Great Society, the Vietnam War and expanding government.
