Today was a first on FSN. Our guest, Jo Comerford of National Priorities Project, ended the interview early. Perhaps I was a bit too aggressive, but when someone tells me that we’re not spending enough money on education or health or a myriad of other federal programs, I guess I go into overdrive. Ms. Comerford is a very sincere policy wonk. She believes that government programs like home heating assistance are beneficial and help people. She also believes that we’re not spending enough on programs like Head Start and other well intentioned initiatives and she feels that there’s plenty of money available for them. I challenged her on these points and she beat a hasty retreat. You decide who has the better argument.

Wow, that’s funny! Well, if you cant’s stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. This is the typical response of a utopian fantacy liberal. A person with her position should have the facts and be able to defend her position with them but she just totally whithered like a pansy in the noon day sun when confronted with actual FACTS. She couldn’t refute them and couldnt come up with any of her own. All she could do was make her voice as soft as possible to conceal her anger that you would dare to disagree with her. She was a deer caught in the headlights with nothing to do but freeze and then bolt. I bet she’s wondering how she allowed herself to be trapped and interviewed by one of those evil, life haters. Still, it was all done very politely.
You have a lot more patience than I do! She not only didn’t know the facts, she lied about the facts. She just reinforced my efforts in searching for a safe place abroad.
Just a rat nervously looking for their hole. This loser is in charge of a lot of money. Scary just f—– scary. No wonder the USA is going down, believes potus has a budget. She needs do some fact checking. Don’t you love it when they whisper to make a point, like they are sharing something really powerful, when in fact it is pure BS.
All the ammo being bought by the gov is to protect people like her from the rest of us.
Kerry you need a medal in patience and courtesy. This woman simply gave the socialist agenda aka the Obama doctrine. I was waiting for you to explode but clearly keeping calm was the right move as she dug a hole deeper and deeper for herself.

Thanks for having a guest with a differing opinion. It was too bad that she couldn’t have a rational discourse with you. I would have loved to hear her reasoning for her beliefs. You should try to get more interviews with such people.
